Decision
So, I’ve decided that I definitely do intend to replace my beetle with a Mini Cooper S. I saw one in a used car lot a little while ago, so I stopped and looked. I’m not going to get that one but it made me much more decisive seeing one up close again. They are beautiful cars and I can’t wait to purchase one! However, I’ve also come to the conclusion that buying one now would consume too much of my entertainment budget and require other lifestyle changes. However, I’ve temporarily reduced how much I’m putting into my 401k and how much I’m paying on my 2nd mortgage (that I got to get out of paying PMI) so I’ll be able to save more. I’ve set up a savings plan so can keep myself on track towards my goal of around 4 or $5,000 (I already have about 1,000) I should be able to order one in two or three months. It takes about six weeks to ship them so by the time it gets here I’ll have all the money I need after I add in the trade-in value. I still have no idea what color to get though. Today, I really liked red and “Astro Black” (a sort of nearly black metallic blue)! Anyway… just an update in the Mini saga!
