iPhone: Two Weeks
There’s not much to say at this point, mainly because the phone is still as awesome as ever! Sometimes the apps crash and the phone takes you back to the “Home” screen, but I’ve found that actually turning the device off a little more frequently seems to fix those. Apple is likely, and more importantly, is able, to fix those with a software update. Apart from that, I’ve had a revelation lately though that I wanted to share. I just realized how ingrained in my head the gestures already are. I was browsing around on my Powerbook and went to do a two finger scroll. My fingers went the wrong way! Instead of moving up to scroll up, they moved down because that’s the direction they would have to go on the iPhone to make it scroll. It makes me wonder if Apple will eventually update the “mouse” driver in Leopard to let the user decide if they want to reverse the axis. Anyway, I have to get started with my day, but I thought this was pretty interesting!
