The first day is done and though we aren’t staying in St. Louis, we’re only about 23 minutes from St. Louis and the Arch. So, first thing tomorrow we’ll drive west into St. Louis, drive by the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (the arch), take a few pictures, turn around and head back East on I-70. Today was pretty good. We saw some cool places by taking some back roads. Instead of going north through Atlanta, we went east through Newnan and Carrollton to I-20 and then northwest to Nashville. We do wish that we’d taken in to account the shortness of the daylight hours because we have no idea what we missed in the dark. Anyway, it’s getting late so that’s all for tonight.
