New Blog Engine
So, after some trouble upgrading to 3.33, I’ve decided to start seriously looking around for an alternative to Movable Type. I’ve had trouble in the past and I’m fed up. I want something new and I want it to just work. I like the incredibly simple install that Wordpress offers, but I’m afraid that it will eventually get stale. I want something cutting-edge. I’ve played around with django some and it’s pretty cool, but it’s still in rapid development so I’d either have to stick with an older version or spend the time to upgrade and potentially have to start from scratch. I’ve also read about the Ruby on Rails app, Typo. It’s fairly mature at version 4+, but like any app of the ruby on rails nature, it wouldn’t be simple to install. So, blah. Any ideas? Right now, MT seems to be working so there’s no real rush, but still, I’d like to do it soon! My “design” is getting a little stale too, so I need to kill both of those birds with one stone.
