New Computer, Eventually

Yup, the 24″ iMac will probably be my next desktop computer. I had a chance to play with one at Comp USA this afternoon before I came home after my .NET programming class (oh, the irony!) and I was absolutely blown away by the size of it. It was simply amazying. I used iPhoto in full screen mode and the pictures just popped out of the display. It was probably the 2.16Ghz model, but everything started all nice and smooth (although, odly enough, GarageBand wasn’t too much faster at loading a new podcast project than my PowerBook. I do believe that opening an existing project from the hard drive would be much faster though.). I would love to see Aperture or Lightroom running on the computer!
