Time
This was essentially across the street from the hotel I stayed at in San Francisco.
Tonight, my parents and brother came over and we started building roof trusses. Well, it didn’t go quite as planned. We found out that we had cut the the boards a little wrong, but they are impossible to fix now without reducing the amount of overhang. After that, we continued putting them together and found out that each one is slightly different from the last. Hopefully we’ll be able to shim them up a bit so they’re all lined up right so the roof decking fits on flat. We’ll see though. I’m taking Friday off and because we have Monday off for Memorial Day (finally!) we’ll have four days to get the walls up, roof on and plywood on the sides. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. If everything works out, I’ll have lots of pictures next week!
