Powerbook Power
I have only taken a few pictures of my G4 Powerbook, Fenchurch, since I bought it this past September, but I’m planning on remedying that. :) This is the first one that was decent enough to post. It doesn’t show much of the screen, which right now is pretty dirty. What do you use to clean your laptop’s screen, if you have one? Amonia-based window cleaners are out, right? I’m not sure where I heard or read that, but I thought that was true.
Anyway, yesterday marked the beginning of week three in my Cooper River Bridge Run training. So far, I think it’s going well. I ran four miles yesterday, which is furthur than I was able to run before the run last year! It’s actually the furthest I’ve run, since the actual run last year, so I’m happy. I could feel my lungs toward the end, but my chest wasn’t cramping nearly as bad as it did Saturday. I finished the four miles in about 40:40, on track for a 10-minute mile average. It’s good, but I still need to work to drop my time down to around nine minutes per mile so I can finish the race in less than an hour. I think I can do it and I’m training for that goal. I’m no longer worried that I won’t be able to run the whole thing. That’s not to say I don’t have more work to do, I just realize that if I can complete the training and actually run the eight miles I’m supposed to the Sunday before the race, I’ll be able to run the entire thing! :)
Oh well, enough of that. I’m super busy at work. I’m now working on designing the point of sale application, not to mention the other two apps I’m responsible for. Hopefully things will calm down in a few days! But enough of work, I’m going home!
