Of Music, Furniture, and a Coffee Press
If you like Jack Johnson’s music, try Willy Porter. I was listening to music in Rhapsody and the guide suggested Dog Eared Dream. I am now listening to that album, as well as his three other discs and will be purchasing a few tracks from iTunes shortly. The music is good, and the cover art for Dog Eared Dream is awesome!
I’ve been looking at furniture a lot more lately now that my car is paid off. That is, if you can consider Friday and a little today a lot! I started going through all the pictures tagged with either desk or workstation on flickr and saving favorites. I really would like to find a good used desk that is the style that I like. I even had the thought that maybe I’d build one! (Yeah, those are probably delusions [of grandeur].) We’ll see. I just have a strong desire to get the office done. Today though, I turned my attention toward the living room. I need a loveseat. No, not because I have a love (ha ha), but I just need more seating.
And on Uncrate today, they put a spotlight on some double-walled glasses and tumblers. I went to the site they were available and after looking around a little while, I found the coffee presses. They have a couple cool ones, and better yet, one of them might be available at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I’m just wondering about people’s experiences with them. Are they any good? The reason I’m interested at all is I’d like the ability to make more than one cup of coffee, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a coffee maker. BBB has an 8-cup press that is fairly stylish. If I got a milk frother, it’d let me make a decent latte or other expresso drink, no? Needed more research is.
