Mine, All Mine!
Yesterday, on the way down to Walhalla to meet Plocki and Craig, I called the bank to make my final car payment. I wish I was able to present stats on the amount of money I’ve saved by paying more each month. That said, I can offer these two facts. I paid it off in 49 payments, that’s almost a year early. As of yesterday, my next payment was less than $100 dollars and was not even due until November. :) Now, I can really focus on *saving* my car payment!

Dan — Congrats! I’m trying to do the same thing and hoping to have my Nissan Maxima paid off in 3 years even though it’s a 5 year loan. What can I say, I’m paying a little more than I’m supposed to be each month and I’m sure they’re hating me because I’m not giving them as much interest as they would like, but eh, that’s life right?
So yeah, I’m stoked about getting a Macintel. :-D
