Week
The last few days have been pretty cool. Sunday, besides church and all, I met some friends for a game of bowling. My team (Stacy, Jason, Valerie) beat the other team (Taylor, Tamara, Hope, and Brittany) by about 50-60 points. I had a decent game, for me, but didn’t finish over 100. I had several great turns, but I just wasn’t consistently good. I think Hope had the highest score. In any case, it was fun.
Monday night found me food shopping at Wally World, and picking up lots of paint chips at Lowes. I probably will have to go back one more time, but this time it will be for my bedroom. If the paint wasn’t new (and I had lots of free time), I’d be really tempted to repaint my room or the office.
Last night, I had choir practice. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, we moved our weekly game of Ultimate Frisbee to last night. It was lots of fun and despite raining off and on all day, the ground was surprisingly dry. I was wearing cleats, so maybe it was just me. It was as fun as usual, despite the fact that all the Converse girls had already left for Thanksgiving break. I also was on the winning team on a guys two-on-two game! It was tough, but we had a couple great catches and probably more than our share of luck! :)
Tonight, my family is celebrating Thanksgiving at my parents house. Tomorrow we’re going to my Grandmother’s house in Georgia to get some work done around the house there. Friday should be fun though. I’m going to drive up to Atlanta to see if there are any good deals at Apple stores, as the on-line store shows. I don’t really need anything, but a 12″ Powerbook might be cool, especially on the NY trip. Besides, my laptop is driving me crazy with it’s incessant ticking/popping. At the very least, maybe I can get a definite opinion on what the problem is with it, and maybe an estimate on how much it’d cost to repair.
