Craziness
So I decided to try to find the listing on Amazon.com for the new Pentax digital SLR camera, the *ist DS, and this is the first product that came up when I went to Amazon’s main page.
That people would actually buy this thing just in case, is just insane. It’s also very sad that instead of changing our culture and lifestyles, we’d rather just apply quick and partial fixes. The question for me is, Am I really any better than the vast majority of the population? Unfortunately, I think the answer is “No, not really.” :(

Dan — I definitely have to agree with you that it’s kind of discouraging that this would be on the front page of Amazon’s stuff as an item that is highly popular.
I agree with you completely about changing our lifestyle and changing our culture, I guess the only thing that we can do is to push forward a vision of change with respect to our priorities in life.
