One Headlight
This weekend was pretty good, especially today. Even though I didn’t do a lot, I was able to save about $40 by changing my car’s headlight myself. The whole process only took about 15-20 minutes! Anyway, Friday night was cool. The evening with Jason, Kristin, Carrie and Jamie started out at McAllisters Deli. After eating we headed over to the Putt-Putt place that I’ve played bunches of times before with the work putt-putt tournament. I shot a 41, not a great score for the tournament, but about 10 strokes better than the next player. I, of course, got ribbed for using a real putter, especially when I won. Carrie and Jamie suggested that the losers would buy the winner some ice cream, so after putt-putt we headed to Breuster’s. The Lemon Meringue Pie flavor was awesome! We rented Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, a pretty funny romantic comedy, and watched it at Jamie’s house to end the evening.
Saturday started early and was busy. I met some people at the church to help with the registration for the single’s conference. About 8:45, I left the church and headed in to work. After working until lunch time, I went back to the church for the second half of the conference. Afterwards, I took it easy for awhile, but eventually got bored and went in to work for about an hour. An hour there was enough to cure the boredom. :) I came home and started watching The Two Towers with the cast audio commentary.
And as I’ve already said, changing my headlight bulb was the highlight of my Sunday. So there ya go, an update to let everybody know that I’m still around. In any case… gotta get moving, so I can get to work on time.
