Sick and 50 First Dates
I haven’t felt good for the last couple days. I think I’m trying to fight off some sort of ear/nose/throat thing. Hopefully drugs will eventually win and I’ll start feeling better, but right now isn’t the best.
I saw 50 First Dates Saturday night. Minus all the semi-crude sexual humor, it was a great movie, and showed one of the best definitions of unconditional love I’ve seen in a movie. That said, I thought the acting was good and the story, to my knowledge, is new and fresh. It’s one of my favorite Barrymore films, especially since it didn’t try to sell itself with sex, unlike the ‘Angels movies. Then again, you can’t really compare Charlie’s Angels to a Sandler flick, now can you? :)
