Swing Dance Part Trois

Upon Arriving to the dance studio “Miss Marions”, several humans initiated contact with gestures and common linguistic patterns indicating their happiness to see me. The social activities soon began and I found myself dancing with a particularly attractive human who is called Tina. So involved in “dancing”, we failed to see that the leader or teacher human had indicated a change in partners. This became important as several of the female of the species indicated a dislike in dancing with one of the males. As a male of the species, I felt the emotion happiness at this revelation because I was performing the prescribed social activity well. Dancing with another attractive female, Maleah, brought more joy as said female is completely relaxed and enjoyed “cutting up”. This brought on a new degree of relaxation to me, from which granted me the ability to participate in a unique human activity: “having fun.” After learning “Joe Cool” with Maleah, the teacher taught the class the “Double Drape.” My last partner of the hour long class and I, Julia, ended the class by learning a kick move that introduced a small change in rhythm that we learned fairly quickly. The third of five classes thus concluded.
I’m not sure that was sci fi enough, especially since I didn’t refer to Schtoom as “Khan” but whatever. I think he’s getting Swing down a lot better now. He and I and One and a Half practiced some at lunch today and he seemed a lot more comfortable tonight. I think the most important thing is that everyone is having fun!
