SW: The Wookie Returns

This just in, Peter Mayhew to play slightly younger Chewbacca for Star Wars Episode III. This is awesome! In A New Hope he’s already 200 years old so it made sense to bring him into the story at this time to help unify the story line. Other classic characters, C-3PO and R2D2, will be present as they have been in all the movies. But why I found out about Chewie from the news this morning on WLFJ and not in an e-mail from StarWars.com, I’ll never know. Oh well. :) Rock!

    Peter Mayhew was one of the nicest actors I met at DragonCon. He and Lou Ferrigno (sp) were awesome, as opposed to Kenny Baker (R2D2, what an ass) and the Babylon 5 cast.

    I highly recommend you go this year, if only for a day. Star wars fantasy land for you.

    I’ll keep that in mind. After seeing pictures it would definitely be fun. I need to decide soon because I really need to be working on my Jedi costume.
