Arrrrggg!
Stupid Pair, stupid, stupid, stupid. I just realized that my server that my database is on crashed last night and the backup they had was probably from yesterday morning, before all the comments on the Personality Tests post. I lost the post that I made late last night too. I really shouldn’t, and don’t, blame Pair because this just shows how much of an idiot I am as a systems admin. I don’t even know how to schedule a backup on my own. The only thing I know to do is to manually dump the database to a file on one of my computers at home. Like *that* is gonna happen with any regularity. Arg! :-(

Why don’t you setup the bakcup option that they have – have them a daily backup at midnight… That’s what I do, though I surely don’t have as much if at all any important information as you do – i.e. I have nothing but test db etc on mine.

Anyway, maybe I’ll set that backup stuff up. I really haven’t played with the admin tools that much. I’ve set up logging but I rarely ever look at them.
You should talk to the people at SRHS….we did backups of everything, bi-hourly for some of them, when I worked there. That’s what you need!
