Blogging and a Request
Watched part of The Screen Savers last night over at Ben’s apartment since I was over there helping taste-test the chicken recipe he’ll be using this coming Thursday, the second Survivor Dinner Party. They talked a little bit about blogs and they asked if they could be detrimental to a person’s writing. I guess they can, especially when all that is posted is about what a person did on a day-by-day. You’ve probably read them.
(Read in a slight monotone)
Today I got up and ate breakfast and played some video games. Tomorrow I might go for a drive. etc…
I hope that this site never looks or sounds like that. A month or so ago I read a site that had several articles for a new blogger, or someone new to writing for the web in general. They include “Write A Better Weblog” and “10 Tips on Writing the Living Web“. I guess once in awhile I post something just to be posting something, or so I can say “I only missed posting one entry a day three times this month.” For whatever reason, it is a definite no-no.
I’m sure I’ve broken other rules – writing something just for a response, or to get a rise out of people are a couple of them. So, since I’m trying to improve this site I’d like to ask people’s feedback. What do I do well? Where can I improve?
Thanks in advance for the constructive (I hope) criticism.
