sniper
heard on WNCW this morning some disturbing news. the rifle used in the sniper shootings was sold under the table or at a gun show. ordinarily that wouldn’t be such a big issue but if the required-by-law background check had been done, the guy couldn’t have been sold that weapon. unfortunately, ATF can’t it’s own rules and far too many people died because of that fact. i don’t blame the suspects less, but hopefully this spree will lead to improvements in procedures dealing with gun sales.
