weekend – 7/27-28

this past weekend was pretty good. saturday morning i just kind of relaxed and played warcraft III. saturday night i went to a birthday party for meredith and wendy willis (friend that goes to engage) at a horse farm. we went on an hour long ride which was pretty cool. i hadn’t ridden a horse in more than 15 years. after the ride we cooked out on the grill and later fixed smore’s since there was a small bonfire burning. most of the pictures i took came out blurry since it wasn’t all that bright out, and i was moving too so oh well. i know i got a few good ones, but not as many as i would have liked. after church yesterday i ate with julia, anca and chris at monterrey’s which was nice. the food was good and it was cool hanging out with them.
afterwards, i went to my parents house to drop off some clothes and get a few lego pieces i needed for the droideka i’m building, or at least trying to. i’m missing a couple really important pieces and really have no idea how to get them. They are TECHNIC pieces but I don’t know what sets have them. here is a link to the inspiration for this custom.
i played war3 for awhile, ate dinner, read some of the first volume of lord of the rings then played war3 until around 1:30 this morning. i’m 3 or 4 missions from completing the campaigns. i really like the game but i’m having an itch to play battlegrounds again hehe. might play that tonight before bible study.
